Blue and White Chinoiserie Lampshade

This beautiful lampshade features a delicate landscape of pagodas, bridges, birds and trees, picked out in layers of blue against a crisp white background. The design has that timeless quality I love about traditional blue-and-white ceramics, but feels fresh enough to sit beautifully in a modern home.

Pair it with a painted or natural wood lamp base and let it bring pattern and personality to a quiet corner, bedside table or living room.

Each shade is hand-finished to order in my North Wales workshop, with careful attention paid to the placement of the fabric so that the wonderful details of the design can really be appreciated.

The mix of navy, soft blue and aqua works beautifully with white, cream, pale blue and natural wood, as well as classic chinoiserie pieces and blue-and-white porcelain.
