Green Velvet Indian Elephant Lampshade

A beautifully rich statement lampshade, combining deep forest green velvet with a wonderfully detailed Indian-inpsired interior.  

From the outside, the shade is understated and luxurious, with the soft depth and texture of dark green velvet.  Look underneath and there's a completely different story - decorated elephants, riders, trees and tiny botanical details in warm pinks, greens and earthy tones.  

When the light is switched on, the patterned interior comes into its own, creating a warm glow and drawing the eye to all those beautiful details.  It's particularly striking used as a ceiling lampshade, where the hidden pattern can be properly appreciated from below.  

Each shade is hand-finished to order in my North Wales workshop, with care taken over the placement of the pattern.  

The deep green velvet works beautifully with natural wood, warm neutrals, antique brass and vintage furniture, making this a lovely choice for eclectic, maximalist and globally inspired interiors.
